Third Italian NUMBER THEORY Meeting

Pisa  September 21-24,  2015

Conference Announcement

The Third Italian Number Theory Meeting, promoted by the PRIN "Arithmetic Algebraic Geometry and Number Theory", with the collaboration of the University of Pisa and the Centro di Ricerca Matematica Ennio De Giorgi, will take place in Pisa from September 21 to September 24, 2015. These pages collect useful informations for those willing to attend the conference.

The conference aims at presenting the more recent results of the research of italian number theorists and their collaborators. In particular we hope that several italian number theorists currently working abroad will attend the conference and we encourage young PhD students and Post Docs to participate with short talks on their researches.

We offer the participants the possibility of presenting a short talk (30 minutes) in the afternoon sessions. If you wish to give a talk please send to the organizers an abstract (1 page maximum, including bibliography if needed). Please send the abstract in english and/or italian using the following template within April 30, 2015. To ease the preparation of the Program, please send the abstract both in tex and pdf files.

If the Scientific Committee approves your proposal, then the abstract will be posted on the conference website in pdf format and included in the schedule.

The Conference Proceedings, with contributions selected among the plenary conferences and the short talks, will be published by the Rivista di Matematica della UniversitÓ di Parma .

We should have some funds to cover the local expenses of a limited number of participants. We hope we can help in particular young PhD students and Post Docs.

The Centro di Ricerca Ennio De Giorgi has opened a website for the congress at the address http://www.crm.sns.it/event/342/ .

In the meantime for any information and/or to be included in the conference mailing list do not hesitate to contact the organizers.
